Huge kutos to a family owned business that treats its clients like extended family. Treating every single item that comes through the door like a family keepsake. Good job, much respect for your ethics.

I paid $220 to frame a movie poster. I took it down there, it was taken from it's original storage roll in front of me, having never even seen sunlight, in perfect condition. I was told the price, it was steep, $50 at least more than I would normally pay at the other shop I usually go to when I have posters framed and I've had litterally dozens done (and will again) but I thought that it was ok, I'll try this place out and if the job was done right the higher price is fine too. It was not. When I got the frame it looked as if the poster when still rolled had had something laid on top of it and had squashed it as there are horizontal folds throughout the picture at inch and a half intervals. More to that, there are vertical creases as if the poster had been dropped in the tube or simply poorly handled prior to framing. I called and left a message on the answering machine and got a reply from a fellow there saying no he hadn't damaged it and said he could not be blamed. I didn't ask for my money back or anything to that end but I did tell him that I wasn't happy and that yes, he could be blamed and I told him I took a look at the state of the poster when I dropped it off and knew it was pristine. He said ok, thanks and hung up on me. No offer to take a look at the problem or to even hear me out. Just hung up. If you have a problem, this is what you get at Sunset Gallery Framing. Go to the other places in town, take my experience into account and realise that the premium you pay is not indicative of premium quality.
