  Took my son there in early December while passing through Port. Was a bit uncertain after reading some of these reviews. However, food was good, prices reasonable, service good, view over the river from the balcony great. All in all well worth a visit.

  Had a great (expensive) meal one night. Went back the second night for drinks only as we told the server and hostess. We sat there for half an hour and drank one drink each, getting asked every few minutes by a different server if we want food. Finally the last (sixth?) server to come over tells us it's their policy that we can't just drink and have to order food. As soon as our unwanted garlic bread arrived, we left. The server was apologetic but made no effort to make amends for the forced order we didn't touch but most certainly had to pay for.

  We had dinner here on our last night in Port Macquarie. We were a little hesitant due to past reviews however we very pleased with the service, cleanliness and yummy food. Service was great and friendly and food was very enjoyable. We had the beef and lamb ribs, veggies, Zuchini Sticks and Salt and Pepper calamari.

  The first night we went it was fantastic. Went back again the next night and very clearly asked BEFORE we were seated if we could just get drinks. Were told it's fine and seated with menus, got our drinks and thought it was all good. Queue 4 more servers coming to ask if we were ready to order, and we clearly said we were just here for drinks. One server later she finally tells us we have to order food and they aren't allowed to serve only drinks. She was apologetic but still made us order and pay full price for our drinks and unwanted and untouched garlic bread. As soon as the food was set on our table we paid and left, no effort made to discount or rectify the mistake.

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - friendly service, good food, price is fine.... We sat in the balcony at night time and had nice views of the water. Id come back.
