  Some people report that their room was newly refurbished but ours wasn't . . . . paint chipping off the wall, missing globes, a toaster that doesn't cancel and smoked out the place from burnt toast but the smoke alarm didn't go off . . . somewhat worrying. The ceiling fan didn't work, one stove element didn't work, no information booklet came with the accommodation either . . . where is the fire blanket? Tucked away in a drawer . . . great spot.

  Like stepping back in time. I have not stayed at a motel this bad since the 1980's Only good point is close proximity to Port Macquarie Coach Terminal. There are backpacker hostels that are much nicer.

  On the positive, the water was hot and shower was a good size . . . shops were close and there is a coded box for after hours arrival. Price is reasonable also.
