    Love town beach at low tide with my kids aged 6,4 and 2

    Lovely beach with surrounding parklands for bbq's, gatherings etc. It has a skate park if you're in to that. A great walking/cycling track around the breakwall which is right against the water. Decent, clean public amenities with a cafe as well.

    Lots of folk and many children having a lovely time. Car space was very limited but everyone was trying to spy a whale. I was lucky saw 2 i think mum and baby wonderful site .

    They could add a little bit more benches, but the view is awesome. The parking is shaped so that all the locals can drive all the way up and stay in their cars whilst still enjoying the view.
