  This restraunt is magnificent- service is absolutely on point, the food to die for- very good recommendation from Johno in regard to dishes I should chose, very pleasant and well maintained dining area with friendly staff. If there was more then 5 stars... I’d highlight them all. Good job Mekong. Keep it up.

  My absolute favourite restaurant in the area. Food is sublime, SO fresh & delicious (addictively so!) The drinks - especially the "house bitters" in my superb Vodka lemon lime & bitters are fantastic. The waitstaff are friendly & professional - our wonderful waitress Jade, who was so personable & accommodating, really added to our dining experience. Also great value for money with very reasonable prices. I absolutely recommended Mekong On The River, you won't regret it if you try this beautiful Laotian/Thai cuisine.

  (BTW, gorgeous options for a vegetarian like myself, I highly recommend the Gang Luan with tofu and veg and Pad Satay with tofu and veg - my carnivorous friends all love these dishes & said "you don't miss the meat one bit!") ☆☆☆☆☆

  For the first time in my life, I have to walk out of a restaurant after waiting for more than 1 hour. Kids are starving. The waiter offer a plain rice. What can we eat plain rice with ? The waiter offer satay sauce- kids are allergic to peanut. Never come back here again. Don't be fooled by its spectacular view.
