Table sticky to touch. Ordered $36 rump ... might as well eat my shoe next time. Chips soggy and salad was dry. Ordered 3 different drinks from the menu and they didn't have it ... Just like the kids meal that wasn't available (run out). Who runs out of spaghetti? Not recommended.

This is a great reward after a wee walk on the foreshore. Tasty selection of beers and good options on the meals, all of which incidentally were served by pleasant responsive staff. I was well positioned near the bar. On the balcony drinking beer with a complementary spring sunset...aaah!

The juice came out about 10 mins later, with the coffee following anther 10 after that. It was about 30 mins after ordering that our dishes arrived at the table. The presentation of the Waffles didn’t disappoint, with a massive serving of ice-cream atop 2 waffles, surrounded by blueberries and masterfully sliced strawberries. No problems here. It was the bruschetta which let the meal down. What was served was a generous slice of thick cut bread, topped with sautéed mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and capsicum. On top of this were two poached eggs. The initial offering looked really tasty and enjoyed the first few mouthfuls - until I opened up the poached eggs. Poached eggs are meant to be set on the outside and soft and gooey on the inside - this one was essentially a hard boiled egg, and was more rubbery than the case surrounding my phone! I am unsure what method they used to cook the eggs, but it detracted so much from the dish I could not finish it. Apart from the "eggs", the tomato-mushroom-capsicum combination became very oily after a while and was very heavy. I had to give up.

Fantastic location with great views. The menu is pretty basic but we stick with the regulars, generally salt & peper squid which we would recommend.

This is a place right in the middle of the Town Green, right next the Rydges. It was a Sunday morning, and ordered the breakfast bruschetta and the Belgian waffles, with a coffee and one of the juice combos on offer. The dour and seemingly over it girl who took our order at the bar didn’t really seem to want to be there (or had had a massive night the night before.) First red flag for the day was the lack of one of the key ingredients in the Carrot Orange Ginger juice - "I'm sorry, we have run out of Ginger" was the response. Not sure how one can run out of an ingredient so early in the day, but this might be a side effect of regional living, so fair enough.

I would not recommend this place to anyone who is after a decent or enjoyable breakfast or brunch. I should have stayed in the hotel to brave the buffet.
